Where To Eat and Drink

Experience all the flavours Jura has to offer

Jura may be small but that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on great food and drink experiences. Here are some of the best spots.

The Jura Hotel’s restaurant

With friendly staff, a great atmosphere and authentic Scottish food, the Jura Hotel restaurant has lots to offer, including freshly-caught langoustine, crab from nearby Islay and the menu staple, Jura venison; all season permitting, of course. But if meat and fish aren’t your thing, there are equally delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Just be sure to give the hotel a ring in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Meal times in summer (April – October): lunch 12-2.30pm; dinner 5.45-8.30pm. Winter opening times vary – please see website for up-to-date hours.

Tables are best booked in advance to help with current social distancing guidelines, so check out their website or give them a call.
