Jura Boat Tours offers bespoke RIB (rigid inflatable boat) tours to various areas of outstanding natural beauty (and an abundance of wildlife) around the island’s shores. The tours give you the opportunity to enjoy the Corryvreckan Whirlpool, raised beaches (remnants from the Ice Age), caves, lighthouses and more.

There is the chance of spotting dolphins, porpoises, seals, otters and occasionally even minke whales as well as red deer, goats, sea eagles and golden eagles. You can also rest assured that Jura Boat Tours are accredited by The WiSe Scheme, a training scheme designed to minimise disturbance to marine wildlife.

Opening Times

Tours operate 1st April - 1st October.

Jura Boat Tours operate during daylight hours and all timetable tours start at 09:00 (unless extraordinary high tides for Corryvreckan which can be earlier) and finish at 19:00. This excludes the sunset tour which can finish around 22:00.

Private charter or commercial bookings also available on request.

Note: All passenger Rib tours are weather/passenger dependant. Good quality waterproofs and all safety equipment supplied.
